In the past few months, I’ve been busy tasting the fruits of my labors building a business for the past year
and now I've got some things I want to share.
So hold onto your butts folks, because here we go.

Once upon a time,
a post-nomadic father new to the realm of domestic responsibility
realized that his Bitcoin gains wouldn’t last him forever.
And simply building an off-grid self-sustainable house wasn't going to cut it…
If he wanted to make it in paradise,
he’d need to start an online business…

BEGIN MONTAGE:
JORDAN is building a house,
planting trees,
dealing with screaming toddlers,
swimming in the ocean,
until finally,
the family moves into their new home.
Jordan had no means of selling his skillsets
because he knew no one to sell them to,
and so he wandered through the industries,
targeting different markets
and forging new realms of creativity
on his personal quest
towards that place
where inner purpose meets external function…

But unlike the movies, it wasn’t all fun and games…
To become successful as an entrepreneur,
Jordan would have to shed his identity
and start confronting the difficult truths
about his self-defeating habits and mindsets…
Jordan cries on the shoulder of his wife at night, wanting to give up.
Jordan trudges through the sand, defeated, depressed.
His bank account app shows a sad $53.

INT. JORDAN’S ROOM IN HAWAII - DAY
Suddenly, JORDAN sees a notification,
he opens up the DM and his eyes light up…
And suddenly, everything changed.
TURN-TABLE SOUND, FAST-FORWARD WHIRR.
Jordan watches the first dollar show up on his Stripe dashboard
and the number rises and rises until…
BEEP.
CUT TO BLACK.
But little did Jordan know that
despite the work he was doing on himself,
success would find him right back where he started,
with one significant change…
(eyes opening in the darkness)
I... am... WORTHY!

Recap of 2024 so far
OK, you can look forward to that becoming a movie one day.
But for now, let me catch you up on the last few months.
From starting the year working hard on my own brand
- writing e-mail sequences,
- creating content,
- building courses, and
- marketing video coaching services;
very suddenly, in the middle of March,
my priorities shifted heavily,
seemingly overnight.
It was a big change but an important shift.
(The most important, after all,
as my priority has been to simply start making some money to live on
without feeling like I was completely selling my soul.)
There was high-ticket opportunity to sell my time & energy doing things I loved.
So instead of the content hustle, I put all my creative juice into my clients
(um wait what?)
But Jordan had a dirty little secret,
one that very few understood...
(angry)
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE "SHORTING THE DOLLAR"
AND DECIDED TO JUST BUY BITCOIN
WITH ALL THE MONEY YOU FINALLY MADE?!
LA PUTA MADRE!
WHAT ABOUT OUR CREDIT CARDS!
HOW WILL OUR CHILDREN EAT?!
She slaps Jordan across the face.

spit flying out the side of Jordan’s mouth as he’s struck silly.
Yup, that’s me.
You’re probably wondering how I got here...
lol ok, anyway.
Things were finally picking up.
Clients were coming my way,
so I went all-in on making some money
(working in the business instead of working on the business).
Starting at just under $2000 of income in January 2024,
by the end of April I had a potential $24,000 worth of deals up in the air.
Insane.
Now, disclaimer: things did not actually play out that way.
I didn’t end up bringing in $24K in a single month.
But whether I ended up closing $24,000, $12,000, or even just $4,000,
the point is that my income was $0 a year ago,
and here I am playing with 5 digits.
It's possible, people.
Even 6 months ago, I couldn’t have even fathomed having that much money anywhere near my field.
And that, my friends, I think is pretty a darn cool update to share.
In my next series of mails, I’ll share how I did it
and what I’d do differently if I were starting today.

I know you may not think of yourself as the entrepreneur type
(because neither did I)
but the world is changing.
And as they continue to print money
to fund wars
and make it more & more difficult
to survive comfortably
you may find yourself naturally
heading down that path...
Regardless, entrepreneurship for me has proven to be a personal growth fast-track, which I'd recommend for anyone. It's helped me level up to a new era of my life.
